Donations - Materials Book, CD and DVD Donations We are very happy to receive your donations of books, CDs and DVDs. We are no longer accepting audiocassettes or videocassette tapes. Due to space constraints, we are unable to accept magazine donations. If the materials donated duplicate what we already have in the collection, these materials will be traded with other libraries or sold and the monies used to purchase new titles. If you would like a receipt for tax purposes, please drop off all donations at the library during business hours. We also have two drop-off bins located near the backdoor of the library on the eastside. Please place your donations in those bins during the hours when the library is closed. Thank you! Artwork The Placitas Community Library is committed to maintaining a small collection of artwork for patrons’ enjoyment and education. The acceptance and exhibit of art must be managed to ensure that the Library is able to maintain its decorum and meet space limitations. If you are interested in donating a piece of artwork, please click here to download the Art Donation form, or ask a Help Desk volunteer for a copy. The form includes the criteria for reviewing and accepting items including information needed from the donor. |
